It's almost fall which means it's almost time to whip out those flats! I love flats. I really don't own heels, because they're uncomfortable and I hate them. So I prefer to wear sandals and flats.

I wanted to compile a list of my favorite flats and ones that I want. I can't wait to wear them with jeans and a comfy sweater! What is your favorite shoe?

I have wanted these for years! But I just never got them. My friend had a pair and they were so comfy and lasted forever. This fall season might be the season I finally buy my own pair ;)

These are super cute. I love the two-tone and the scalloped pattern. I actually just bought a pair of flats from Forever 21 and was surprised that they were actually comfortable. I will be buying more pairs of flats from there for sure.

I love the look of these types of flats but I'm not sure if I can pull it off. Do you ever want to try a new style but aren't sure if you'd look right wearing it? That's how I feel about these style of shoes. But I always like them on other people so I will just have to do it!

I have been lusting over these forever. I don't like the traditional Tory Burch flats that most people have with the elastic back. I've worn flats like that before and it gives me blisters on my achilles. But I really love their other ballet flats. Perhaps in the future I'll splurge (and hope that they last me a few years!)

You can never go wrong with flats (or any shoe) from Target!

These are my absolute favorite shoes in the fall and winter. I can't even explain how comfortable they are. I also like the grip on the bottom so you're not sliding around on ice in the winter. I have flat feet and shoes usually hurt my feet and shins (as opposed to wearing sneakers), but I have no issues with these!

What are your favorite types of shoes? Do you love flats as much as I do? :)

Lilly Pulitzer Sale!

So I only found out about the Lilly Pulitzer After Party sale yesterday, and I knew I had to go on there this morning.

I've been wanting a Lilly dress for a while now and this is my chance! So lo and behold, "my first Lilly," which is now sold out :(

I really, really loved this dress too but they no longer have it in my size.

And lastly, I'm debating on this one too. It's a cotton material, so I'm not sure what it would look like on me. Has anyone gotten a Lilly cotton dress? Thoughts?

I'm going to head to the store after work and see if I can buy anything in person, and try some stuff on because I have no clue of the fit. I mean I'm already ordering online, so if I find out I got the wrong size I'll be mad but...I want to know if I ordered the right size :)

I found a few dresses that were available and then once I clicked "Add to shopping cart" they were already sold out! It's possible the ones above have sold out since I wrote this.

Has anyone else been shopping the Lilly site today? What did you buy?

Bloomingdale's Dresses Sale

Bloomingdale's has a selection of dresses that are on sale...and you get an extra 25% off with the code "DRESS." Sweet!

I got the email alert this morning so I decided to peruse and see what I find. Here are a few of my favorites:

AQUA Dress - Sleeveless Printed Pleat Skirt Fit and Flare - $90.24

This is perfect for as a back to school dress in the fall, when it's still pretty warm out...and you want to look cute the first few weeks - then it's all down hill from there ;)

AQUA Dress - Spaghetti Strap Sequin Bodice Pleated Skirt - $84.60

This would be a great dress for a more formal occasion. I love the pleated skirt. I tend to like dresses with this kind of fit as opposed to more form-fitting ones because after a night of eating or drinking, I need a dress that will hide some stuff :)

Adrianna Papell Dress - Sleeveless Illusion Beaded Neck - $191.25

How pretty is the detailing on this dress? This is perfect for a fall wedding. There's more beading on the back as well. I like the fit and color. Do you prefer summer or fall weddings? I'm all about fall - it's my favorite season!

AQUA Dress - V Back Lace - $109.44

Another great dress for the fall, whether you're going back to school or need new dresses for the office. The color is a pale pink color.

Lush Dress - Strappy Back - $46.40

Because we all need a little black dress ;) I like the shoulder straps and high neckline - and the straps on the back of the dress as well!

I think the 25% is today only so head over and start shopping!

Which one of these is your favorite? I really love that navy blue dress...wish I had a wedding to go to!

So About This Amazing Video App...

One night I mentioned to my friends how cool Kendall Jenner's videos on her Instagram were (yes, these are the many random things girls talk about) and the app she was using to make them.

I found out the name was 8mm Vintage Camera. It's $2.00 and my friend downloaded it seconds later. We stayed up ALL night recording little video snippets and putting them together. It was so much fun. And the vintage camera made it come out SO adorably. I definitely can say it's worth the two dollars.

The video above is one me and my friends made at the lake club in our town. Let me know what you think of the video and the app if you decide to get it! :)

P.S. the song in the video is "L.A.F" by Broods

 Catch ya later,

Nordstrom Sale: Back To School

Can you believe it's already August?? Summer is almost over! But I'm okay with that because fall is my favorite time of year.

I was perusing Nordstrom's sale page and found a lot of things that will be great for back to school. One thing I am definitely buying will be a field jacket and a rain jacket - 2 must-haves for when it gets cooler outside!

Here are other things on my shopping list:

Caslon Clean Front Five-Inch Shorts

Bobeau Front Keyhole Embroidered Tank

I really love the Michael Kors jacket! I'd love to one day own a Barbour field jacket, but for those on a budget like me, this is a great option :)

What are some of your back to school must-haves this year??

Apartment Decorating

I'm so excited to be moving into my own apartment in a few weeks! I'll admit - I will miss living at home, and know I'll be homesick. But I know it will be great to have my own space...and my complex has a pool!

The hardest thing has been picking stuff out to decorate the apartment. Originally, I wanted to go with a boho theme in the living room, but now I think I want more of a beachy theme. So far, the living room is the only room that I have most of the stuff for. I have yet to buy stuff for the kitchen, bathroom or bedroom! But at least I have a really comfy couch ;)

I'm still in the process of buying stuff and there is still a lot on my to-do list. I wanted to share my "wish-list" with you all and see what you think & what you would add. Perhaps there are things I am forgetting!

Here is an image of what I'm trying to go for in the living room:

I love blues and greens, so that's what I tried to go with.

And here are a few things I really want!

Area Rug
I really need an area rug for the living, but also a smaller one for the bedroom. I love patterned rugs like this one...or maybe I'll look for a chevron one?

Ginger Jar
I first saw these on Mackenzie Horan's blog and loved them. They are a great decorative piece to put on a side table or shelf.

Storage Shelf
I really need some sort of small storage space. I plan on putting this behind the back of my couch, since my couch will stick out from the wall a bit. It will be a good way to disguise that and have some extra shelf safe. Luckily, I already have a big bookshelf for all my books :)

Plates
I have no kitchenware yet except for cups. My sister makes fun of me because she says I buy everything else (like wall paintings, frames, etc.) but not the necessities like things to eat out of haha. Oops.

Wall Art
This photo is from an Etsy seller. I love looking through Etsy for prints or photography. I want a few for the living room, and want to find a big, horizontal print for over the bed.

Throw Pillows

I haven't bought any pillows yet because I'm deciding on if I want to buy them or make my own. Can you tell I love blues and greens? :) Currently, some pillows at Target are buy 3 get the 4th one free, so if you're in need of some pillows, check it out!

That's all I can think of for now but I know there is still a ton I'm missing. If you think of any apartment necessities, please leave a comment below or tweet me
